pro active

Question Posted Friday August 18 2006, 12:20 am

Okay so I know this isnt under the right catergory I just didnt know what to put it under.

Does pro-active really work ? Like the commericals say. Does it really clear you skin up well & prevent later break outs ? If so where can I buy it at a good price ? Because I dont want to order it from TV. Thanks in advance.

lots of acne treatments work, but different ones work for different skin types. i personally have never used pro-active, but it would probably work, and, i have really bad acne. i started using one brand that LOTS of people used and it didn't work, so i switched to another that LOTS of people used and was also on comercials claiming to clear up my face, that didn't work either. you should try it, but if it doesn't work, talkt to your dermatoligist about Tazorac. i use that now and it's amazing. best of luck!

hey there!

i've been using proactiv for a couple of months now and it works great. my face got really clear and helps prevent break outs. you can go to the mall and there is might be a cart selling proactiv. remember that you should use it everyday twice, in the morning and at night. hope this helps!

Finally! A question that I really want to answer! My skin sucks! Like really, it's awful. As soon as I started using proactiv, my face cleared up! I thought it was a miracle, but after about a month and a half, the proactiv stopped working. It was a nightmare! The other day, my mom took me to a make-up place. I got into a conversation with a woman who previously had acne. She said that she had used proactiv before. She had the same sitation as me. If you do get proactiv, use it until it stops working. Then buy some other skin product, like Clinique Foam Acne Cleanser. Then, once you run out of that, switch back to the proactiv. Good luck!

Well, It didnt work for me the first time i used it. All it did was make my skin really dry and irratated.

But i tried it again and it did work. It was great. But i used it only at night cuz my skin is sensitive =]

So, yes it does work. But for only some people

I heard that acnefree is less expensive and works too. Plus you can get it at Wal mart,k mart, eect.

And only proactiv thru TV

Good luck

yes it does really work! mostly for people in there late teens or actual adults. it dosent work for everybody tho, because proactiv dosent' go 'inside you' and stop your bodies oil production for people going through adolesence. i tried it, and it didnt work for me.
