abortion
okay, well, im sooo against abortions. the reasons most people have abortions are because they are:
-retarted
-the parent's too young
-they cant support the baby
all of which are NOT the babies fault in any way, so why kill it? its like killing any other human being!! what can i do to get this to stop?

Don't think you have the moral right to dictate what people should do with their bodies: it really doesn't do anything except foster hatred. It is up to the mother's choice on what to do with the foetus, no-one elses. And there is much debate as to whether the foetus could be considered a "human being", or just a group of cells.

I agree. This isn't right! Killing a baby; an inncoent baby that didn't do anything? Stand up. Try to convince maybe an orphanage or an adoption center will be okay. Maybe you can take it for free and find it a new home!

I have experience debating both sides of this issue. Sometimes we have such an emotional reaction to abortion that we forget to look at and study all the facts. I will never tell you what to believe, but I would suggest to anyone concerned about abortion to research it for themselves. There are some powerful arguments for and against abortion. Unfortunately, there are some poor ones as well. If your concern is for the life of the unborn, then you can help in a real and positive way. The best approach to any "problem" is prevention. Learn as much as you can about unwanted pregnancy and ways to reduce it. Education is something you can do for yourself and then encourage others to do the same. Stick with the facts and avoid overused slogans and jargin. If you believe in abstinence or using birthcontrol than find out more about those tools to avoid pregnancy. Judging others will not stop or reduce abortion, but you can take positive steps to find out what works.

I'm not for abortions either but you can't really do anything about it. People can sign all the petitions they want but in the end, it's all in the hands of the government. You can still sign them because I'm sure it'll make you feel as if you've done a difference which is a good thing but there's only so much you can do. I live in Texas and here, they are illegal but in other stats they are legal. It's up to the federal government to decide to make them illegal in all of the United States.

I am against abortions to. BUT if a situation arrises that the mother's life is in danger, then I think a abortion on those terms would be ok. As far as sayin it could ruin a person's life...that's a selfish answer. If a person is so concerned with a baby ruining your life then keep your damn legs closed ya know? And all these ppl that will hate on me for saying this, dont say I don't know what I'm talking about because I do. I've had an abortion.

I'm in the middle about abortions, but I do believe its not your business. Like not in a mean way, but there are logical reasons behind having abortions. Like if they can't support the baby, you want them to have the baby, and then have it starve to death or something? Also when they have the abortion, its before the baby's brain developes, so it doesn't feel any pain anyway.
I do see where your coming from though. If you feel like you NEED to do something, join an activist group.

umm nothing. have you ever considered rape as a reason people have abortions? and making a mistake doesn't make you "retarded". another reason people have abortions is if they have health problems. so don't automatically assume everyone who does that is an awful person. times are changing and it will probobly end up not being banned.

i know you are probably going to rate this a 1, but please jsut be open minded the other way. true, it isnt the babies fault for those, but if the parents can't support it, it could turn out to be really trashy, and maybe even become a murderer of druggie or something.
*if they cant support the baby, when its born, it could possibly die. this way, if you get an abortion, at least its before the baby even HAS LUNGS.
its not YOUR baby, so its not your choice. if you get pregnant and decide to keep the baby, go ahead, but realize that if a teenager has a baby, it could ruin there lives: no jobs, no college.
