Do you have to take out a tampon before you pee?

Question Posted Saturday August 12 2006, 10:40 pm

Okay,... I don't know if this is in the right category, but...
I just put in a tampon for the first time. Do you have to take out a tampon before you pee? I have to pee while it's in. Is this normal?

Its completely normal for you to pee while you have a tampon in, since the tampon doesn't go in the hole you pee out of. ♥

Yes it is normal and natural. Just so you know there are 2 holes there, one where the tampon goes and one where urine exits the body.

Hope this clears that up.

Yes, everyone has already told you that you could pee with a tampon in, but also I didn't know if you knew or not (I'm thinking you don't) You have 3 holes "down there".
First: Urine Only
Second: Tampons/Sex
Third: Feces

Yes, it is completely normal for you to pee with a tampon in. Actually, if the tampon is dry and you need to take it out before it's full for some reason, peeing with it in will make it less painful to pull out. You can also go # 2 with it in if you want/need to. Just make sure the string doesn't get caught back there--I know that sounds silly, but true! :)

You don't have to take it out to pee if you don't want to. It's normal though.
