Angry easily, gotten too far

Ok, I'm 14/f, and you know normal teenagers are usually fighting with their parents and stuff over stupid things.. well, that's the case with me. I dont know, but I seem to lose my temper easily. It's not always me, I mean I'll say something back to my parents that ticks them off until the point where I get so angry that I.. well I've scratched my mom before. And not that long ago I got in a fight with my dad and hit him. It's not like I intentionally want to hurt them that way, I just can't control it. And I feel like now it's gotten out of hand. I'll tell you exactly what happened with my dad before.. My family was watching tv in my family room, and I was thirsty so i went to go get something to eat and some jello lol. Well there's this little stool kinda table thing that I used as a table. It was off to the side so I used my feet to drag it over to the couch since my hands were full. It got caught on the rug and my dad, i dunno what he said exactly but he made a remark about it and I was like, "What am I supposed to do? my hands are full" And he was like.. well.. blahblahblah, I don't even remember what he said, all I remember is I ended up hitting him, and then he flipped out and took the jello and drink away and yelled at me and threatened that I didn't have to get a new cell phone, etc. See how stupid it is? But I really can't control this. Idk what I should do. I really want this $88 hair straightener, and my mom said if I was good during the vacation we are going on next week then I could get it. But I'm gonna be with my mom dad and brother in a hotel room for like 4 nights, and I have a feeling I'm just gonna get mad at them for the stupidest thing and end up ruining the chances of getting that straightener. How can I control my anger? I feel really badly about everything now, I really don't mean it.. I'm just.. i dunno, everythings changing. Sorry this was so long.. please help.. thank you

okay, i am going through EXACTLY what you are going through, im 15 though. Caramella, who cares if no one likes you, if no one can accept you for who you are then, they arent really your friends in the first place! I have gone way too far in this anger thing..and yes like one of the people, as you grow up it increases.. BELIEVE me! Im at the peak of my anger right now and i want to hurt anyone i see at school...i would talk to a counsellor, it may sound silly but it works.. maybe not me persay haha but you can still make it happen, you dont want to turn out like me, with like 2 people who i can trust and no one else.. nah, you wouldnt like this life...

You have to change your attitude with people or noone will like you.Youll get into a lot of trouble with your parents.The more you get older,the more this anger will increase with you.What if you one day really phisically hurt your parents?I mean,i fight with my mom and dad all the time and over small things but,still,i respect them because 1)they are a hell lot older 2)They are the ones that got me into this world and raised me and took care of me when i was sick and my mom carried me in her stomache for 9 months and they got me everything i wanted and i dont think they deserve to be HIT after all theyve done to me.Your dad was just trying to make it easier for you with the jello.If i were you id stop and go apologize for everything ive done throughout the past and if you dont,its your loss not theirs.When you find yourself older one day and married with a kid and theres noone to look after your kid when you wanna go out with your husband,your parents will not be there for you.And be careful cuz what goes around comes around and one day you will find yourself getting older and you have children that HIT you everytime they get mad.How would you feel THEN??

i know hou yoi feel. somtimes my parents are like that and pounce on me for the smallest things.

you could have an anger problem but it also sounds like your over stressed. everybody feels like you at times but most people don't take it that far.

i think when you get in a fight or close to a fight with your parents you should take a walk and cool down. then when your back camly explain to them what happened. it also helps to get a peice of paper and write down everything that's bothering you. it also helps to get a good cry and to scream into and punch a pillow.

Okay, seems like you have a bad temper. What you need to do is breathe in and out. Take deep ones. Count to 10..maybe even up to 60 slowly. Before you say anything or do anything to the people you're angry at, go into a room (possibly your room) and scream into the pillow.

If you're still not satisfied, write it all down. Cry it out. Think about it form your parent's/ sibling's point of view and then go out when youare CALM. And always apologize and say that you're having problems controlling your anger when situations go out of control

You need to find somthing ot calm youself down.. Maybe saying a lot of basicly nothing in your head would help some? like idk. or write? or if you have an ipod/cdplayer/mp3 player you could play it loud so that you coudl just drain out yuor thoguhts..a nd sinc ei guess you got a new cell phone? have a contact list read that you can tcall if yuor geting pissed off. Just tell a few friends who have a cell and dont mind if you call early/late/whenever and tell them abtou the straightner thingy and how you need someone to talk to if you get pissed off.. well yea. just htink of somthing that uo can do to destract youself.. write poems. i can write realy good byut sorda disterbing poems when im angry.. haha. well goodluyck and have a great vacation!

i tend to blow up at my mother occasionally. (my father isnt around to scream at)so i think you just might be overly stressed. you should take up a contact sport. volleyball REALLY helped me!
