I lied & now I don't know what to do!

Question Posted Monday August 7 2006, 12:36 am

I need help, really bad.

I lied to my boyfriend about something really big, not going to get into details, it's a VERY long story! He just called me & told me that he doesn't want to be in a relationship with me right now, because he just can't handle it.

& I have absolutely no idea what to say or do to make everything better. I can't handle thinking what it would be like without him, it's just WAY too much for me.

So, PLEASE. If you were in my position, what would you do?

Thanks in advance.

So I did the same thing not so long ago... I never lie but i did to him and i apologized a trillion times and it didn't change anything. not saying it'll never work for you but i'm just saying, be ready to let go. it will hurt for a while but you just gotta bear with it. <3

yes like the other people have said
b completely honest with him...if he's smart he'll understand that you are trying to have honesty in the relationship and will not break up with you...but even if he does.....remember that u don't need a guy 2 rely on because in the end all uve got is you.
but anyways back to the question have a talk with him and hopefully he forgives you for watever the reason may be he's mad.=D
good luck
mucho luv~~~

Well, i would deffently sit down & talk to him. Tell him why you lied. Be completely honest about it. Tell him what you lied to him about and everything, maybe he will understand. But who knows. Lots of people are different some forgive & understand easly, some just hold things against you forever. good luck :]

Hey there!

In my oppinion the best thing to do now is just be completely honest. Tell him the truth and don't hold back. Even if he breaks up with you, you have it off your chest. And perhaps if you show him you care by telling the truth he'll think about giving the relationship another shot, who knows?

If and when you do tell him the truth, let him know that you're telling him not because he's breaking up with you (as that could seem like revenge), but because you belive he deserves to know the truth.

I'm sorry you're in this situation, and perhaps there is no way to repair it. But if you try, you shouldn't blame yourself.

Best of luck! I hope that helped...
