Flab

Question Posted Saturday August 5 2006, 4:42 pm

I am 5'2 and I weigh 129 pounds. I know I'm not overweight, and everyone says I should only loose at most 5 pounds. But, my stomach still is flabby and I don't look that good in a swimsuit. What can I do about it?

Well,

Your not overweight and i know you know that. You could do crutches during the day or pushups like everyday and until the flab goes away if you really cant handle the flab. But you are not overweight. And if that doesnt help you could always go to a gym.

If you dont belive me click here:

Hope i have helped!

Flab -
i`m sorry, but i can`t tell you much more than this:
you may be just a TAD overweight, but it`s not like it`s a bad thing. i`m certainly not fat, but i`m not super skinny. my best friend is super skinny, and she eats like a cow. no, more like horse. but i love her anyways. but that`s beside the point. if i wanted to look like her, which i don`t, i`d do some serious crunches, and find a gym and do workouts. I wouldn`t say give up the food you love, because then it just makes working out, all the more harder. hope i helped.

i think you might be overweight because i'm 5'8 and i weigh 128...and i'm not skinny but im not overweight. but don't listen to what i say if you like your body then that's what matters most so um do like crunches but different kinds and change your routine up because if not it can get boring!!

Actually, you are a bit over weight. Hmm.. Marginal! 129-134 is for people that are around 5'7-5'8 [my heigth.] Watch your diet - more exercise needed!
Don't eat as much junk food, and do crunches and sit up everynight.

try doing sit ups every nite, or crunches. it should tighten your stomach.
p.s. try building your indurance by starting with 25 and moving down the line: 35, 45, 55, 65..etc.
hope i helped =D

Aah, I'm about the same as you. 5'3 1/2" && 134. If you're only worried about your tummy, do crunches. I do 2-3 sets of 20 3x a day, at least 6/7 days a week. Add at least 15-20 min. cardio (depending on how hard the exercise is) 4/7 days/week. In 2-3 weeks you should have a flat stomach and have lost 3-5 pounds. =]

I know exactly how you feel.
What I do is still eat what I want, but in moderation.
I don't go over 1200 calories a day.
And exercize.
Thats really what you should do.
Concentrate on getting some muscle in your stomache.
You may gain weight in doing that only because muscle weighs more than fat.

Hope I helped.

I once heard doing sit ups is better for toning, so you should try doing sit ups daily and it should help.

Good Luck.
