definetly.Even if you wait for a couple of months,some viruses just dont go away.Its very possible for that person to get STD's especially is hes already done it before,thatll make the chances even higher.

Like Xenolan said, viruses won't last long on a surface like that. However, bacterial infections are still a possibility, though unlikely. If you or someone you know thinks they are at risk, the person in question should definitely get tested.

Pretty much any virus that causes an STD will be long dead after a couple of months in the open air. However, there is a risk of a more generic infection if the dildo wasn't clean. Just wash the things in soap and hot water before and after each use, and there shouldn't be any problem.
