Okay.. so me nad my mom dont have the greatest relationship. actually our relationship sucks. we never talk or nething and i hate her. she always yells and stuff and is really annoying. we went on this crusie in december of 2005 and i got my period but i never told her, and i still havent told her to this day. i was thinking about telling her this month or next month. but i dont know what to say or even what to do. please help

I have realized that the best thing you can do is become good friends with her. My mom yells sometimes too, but thats just because she can get stressed a lot. it took me a long time to figure that out. I have said I ahted her, but now that i realize, you really should have a good relationship with her. First of all, just tell her that you want to get along with her. Think about it, your mom went through labor to have you [very painful]. And she cant hate you, so just try to get along with her. Tell her you want to.

Maybe give her the hint,if you have a pad or something leave the wrapper in a visible place and let her find it herself , and then it will be her job if she wants to confront you about it.
If you dont wanna do that, then ask her you need something personal from the store, she will hopefully get the hint.

Well you could tell her, Mom i'm sry i never told you this but i got my period way back on the cruise. Or if you dont want to do that, you should wait til your period comes again and say that was the first time you got your period. But i would go for the first one. Should be open with your mom bout tht one.
