AWFUL bumps from shaving down there, would NAIR work on my vaginal area?

Question Posted Monday July 31 2006, 11:51 am

I shaved "down there" about a month ago. I got terrible bumps, which I guess I should have expected. But these bumps haven't gone away and now they are like pimples, getting white heads and they bleed when I pop them. Is this normal?

And no, I do not have an STD...I am married, happily for 7 years and there is no possibility of either of us cheating.

I will never shave "down there" again, I was wondering how Nair would work? Any suggestions?

in grown hairs. thats what it is. it's normal. that happens when i shave my bikini line sometimes. as for nair i've never used it down there. but i sounds like a good idea. also if you still wanna try shaving get the vibe razer ((the vibrating razor)) it's a closer cut and you don't get bad bumbs

When I shaved in the past, the same thing has happened to me. They are ingrown hairs. Leave them alone, and do not try to pop them. You can use nair, only the hairs down there have to be long before it can work accurately. Try waxing. It's not very comfortable, but it keeps the hairs from coming back for a while and it doesn't leave nasty ingrown hairs.

you just got the bumps because the skin is very sensitive you can get it waxed or nair works. and dont pop them that will only irritate them more. hope i helped.

nair and veet worked fine for me. the reason you got the bumps is from razorburn. they are not pimples, and they bled because the skin down there is verrry sensitive, so they look like pimples, and trying to pop them would majorly irritate them. i would suggest getting waxed, becasue there isnt anybumps. (it will hurt the first few times though, after about 3 times, itll feel pretty fine)

you might have a sist. i dont know how you sell it, its like zits on your vagina and it gets to be a pimple and its like and ingrown hair. i shave all the time, and ive never gotten it, but my mom has. i wouldn't use Nair becaus it might irratate it. dont use it untill it clears up. and you might want to go to a DR.

Shaving does cause irritation. Hair growing back itches like the devil. Use lots of lotion. It is all normal.

Regular Nair will burn you badly. Do not use it.
I believe they make a product for bikini are so be sure to read the label. There are several similar products out there as well. :)
