I am a 23 year old female. I am happily married, but a few weeks ago, I made the mistake of having unprotected sex with someone other than my husband. I just found out that I am pregnant. I cannot keep the child because there is a good chance that my one-night-stand is that father. I want to have an medical abortion and disguise it as a miscarriage. My husband is a doctor, and I fear that he may be able to distinguish the difference between an induced miscarriage and a spontaneous one. What is the difference between a medical abortion and a spontaneous miscarriage?
And don't have an abortion.
It's your fault you did it in the first place.
You need to tell him..because if he finds out later.. Then you'll have a worse chance of losing him than telling him now.

What more could you ask for?? I hope he leaves your ass. And how selfish to have an abortion to hide your sluttiness!!! You make me SICK!!!!!!!! That simply means taking a pill and waiting for desired effect, which normally only takes a few hours, and that should be completely indistinguishable from a spontaneous abortion. There shouldn't be a need for you to have a surgical abortion (which would leave physical evidence) as long as you get started on it quickly.
However, if I were playing the game you are I'd be more worried about how I was going to hide the cost from my husband. A medical abortion will run you between $300 and $600. Not exactly chump change.

I think you should be truthful with your husband. It was your mistake, and mistakes have consequences. This would probably be the best decision to make because even if you do get the abortion, there is a good chance that the truth will come out sometime. And that would probably be a whole lot worse because not only do you have that issue, you have also lied to your husband. Also, guilt can be stressful. It isn't healthy and should be avoided. To tell you the truth this doesn't seem like a very honest relationship. [ sexybandgeek's advice column | Ask sexybandgeek A Question ]
avia answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 3:37 pm: if you get the surgical abortion he will only be able to tell if he looks at you down there. there is another type that you can have in the pill form that is the exact same thing as the spontanious abortion he will never ba able to tell the diff. but you have to get this abortion pill before you are 7 weeks or it may not work. you can do this by calling the abortion place and telling them you want to do the pill and trust me its so natrial he will never be able to know at all also i know people want to give thaie opinion about the situation but its your life and yours only you do what is best for you because in the end you are the one who has to deal with it not all the people giving their opinions. kristen22 answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 3:27 pm: Abortion is: a suction tube is inserted through the dilated cervix into the womb. A powerful vacuum tears the placenta from the uterus and dismembers the body of the developing child, sucking the pieces into an attached jar. There is a risk that the uterus can be punctured during the procedure. Also, the abortionist must take care that all the body parts are removed from the womb, as infection and hemorrhage can occur if fetal or placental tissue is left in the uterus.
Miscarriage occurs from a hormonal imbalance AND/OR chromosomal abnormality's, infections, and maternal health problems like diabetes, or thyroid disease. A recent study found that women with an infection called bacterial vaginosis were nine times more likely to have a miscarriage than uninfected women. Most women who have an early miscarriage do not need treatment. The uterus empties itself like a heavy period. However, a doctor may recommend a D&C if your beyond 6-12 weeks pregnant at time of miscarriage.
I feel as though I cant just answer this question without having my opinion be known even though I'm fully aware that it wasn't asked for.
I am 100% against abortions. They should be made illegal. Your wanting to kill that innocent baby just because it may not be your husbands? What may I ask did that baby do to deserve to die? It's still A PART OF YOU. [ kristen22's advice column | Ask kristen22 A Question ]

Talk to planned parenthood, and ask the doctor who performs the abortion if there is anything you need to be worried about with your doctor husband. brookagurl answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 3:18 pm: An abortion is the procedure of removing the fetus with some type of vacuum device. A miscarriage is when the fetus dies in the womb and the body flushes it out naturally. [ brookagurl's advice column | Ask brookagurl A Question ]
