Accidental Pregnancy
I am a 23 year old female. I am happily married, but a few weeks ago, I made the mistake of having unprotected sex with someone other than my husband. I just found out that I am pregnant. I cannot keep the child because there is a good chance that my one-night-stand is that father. I want to have an medical abortion and disguise it as a miscarriage. My husband is a doctor, and I fear that he may be able to distinguish the difference between an induced miscarriage and a spontaneous one. What is the difference between a medical abortion and a spontaneous miscarriage?

That's very stupid of you. How could you cheat on your husband like that? Happilly married? My god, you don't deserve him in my opinion.

You can have a medical abortion in most states up to 56 days after your missed period. That simply means taking a pill and waiting for desired effect, which normally only takes a few hours, and that should be completely indistinguishable from a spontaneous abortion. There shouldn't be a need for you to have a surgical abortion (which would leave physical evidence) as long as you get started on it quickly.
However, if I were playing the game you are I'd be more worried about how I was going to hide the cost from my husband. A medical abortion will run you between $300 and $600. Not exactly chump change.

How can you be happily married and have sex with someone other than your husband? It doesn't sound like you can be. I think you should be truthful with your husband. It was your mistake, and mistakes have consequences. This would probably be the best decision to make because even if you do get the abortion, there is a good chance that the truth will come out sometime. And that would probably be a whole lot worse because not only do you have that issue, you have also lied to your husband. Also, guilt can be stressful. It isn't healthy and should be avoided. To tell you the truth this doesn't seem like a very honest relationship.

if you get the surgical abortion he will only be able to tell if he looks at you down there. there is another type that you can have in the pill form that is the exact same thing as the spontanious abortion he will never ba able to tell the diff. but you have to get this abortion pill before you are 7 weeks or it may not work. you can do this by calling the abortion place and telling them you want to do the pill and trust me its so natrial he will never be able to know at all also i know people want to give thaie opinion about the situation but its your life and yours only you do what is best for you because in the end you are the one who has to deal with it not all the people giving their opinions.

Talk to planned parenthood, and ask the doctor who performs the abortion if there is anything you need to be worried about with your doctor husband.
