the no carbohydrates diet

ok well im going to try the no carbohydrates diet, i no its not healthy but i need to loose weight fast. but what i need to no is what food it out there with no carbohydrates in it? because i cant seem to find any food without carbohydrates. and if i stick to this diet. when will i begin to see results?
thatnks so much you dont no how much i will appreciate it if you answer me.

Well, There arent many foods out there without carbohydrates.
But if your going to be on a low carb diet, they most foods low in carbs are higher in fat.
So try to balance it out.
A good food that has no carbs and is low in fat is grilled chicken , some veggies are low in carbs too.
So dont deprive yourself of carbs, just dont eat as much white bread and white pasta and cake etc.
Work on whole grains and protein too!

I have done the Atkins diet and it works great, if you want to lose weight rapidly but necessarily keep it off.

Ok here is what you should be eating:
Lots of Steak, beef, chicken and fish (nothing breaded though)
Eggs, bacon, fry it or bake it use butter (no margarine) you are allowed whip cream (real only)
Lots of Cheese
for the first little while NO FRUIT (first 2 weeks)
The only veggies are spinich, cauliflower, broccoli, most salads, no tomatos no carrots though
Cream is good - Full fat
No Milk
Drink lots of water
Macadamia nuts are good for snacking
crystal light is ok
Try and hold off on caffiene for the first couple of weeks
mayonaise is good not miracle whip
Also atkins sells bars that are ok once in a while and will deal with your chocolate cravings. (the endulgence ones are pretty good)also splenda is 1g./pack of sugar (splenda is a sugar substitute better then any others.)

Keep in mind that this is NOT FOR LONG TERM and you need to start re-introducing carbs slowly after 2 weeks. Soon after you start your body will go into kitosis (sp?) you will lose a noticeable amount of weight within the first week/week and 1/2.

If you are young talk to your parents first. By the way you are supposed to eat 20gr carbs a day in the beginning no carbs is way un-healthy.

Make sure you have NO potatos, pasta, rice etc.

Eat a lot of apples.
They make you skinny:)
Go swimming, you lose weight fast.
Eat a lot of fruits, but not bananas.
exercise 30 minutes a day.
NO BREAD.

be safe with your diet.

your body needs carbs. they give u energy. i did this diet and i ended up in the hospital. just eat 4-5 small meals a day and excersize 4-6 days a week.

If you eat NO carbs, you will die. What I assume you are talking about is the Atkins diet, which for the first 2 weeks dieters are advised to eat about 20 carbs per day. After that dieters are supposed to increase their carb intake every 2 weeks.

I don't know how 'good' or 'bad' this really is for a person, (since I am not a doctor) but honestly, I think if you follow a low-carb diet as you are supposed to - eating mostly vegetables, and cutting out all refined sugar - that would probably be a lot healthier that what most Americans eat. Now, if you eat nothing but loads of butter, red meat, and mayonnaise - that would probably be bad for you :)

Anyway, to answer your questions:
-there are plenty of LOW carb foods and snacks out there (meats, cheeses, carrots, celery, spinach) just watch your fat intake.
-I've done the Atkins diet before and was really wowed with the results. I lost weight almost immediately. Within two weeks there was a noticeable difference (mostly in the tummy area.)

Don't be put off by the first few days of dieting. You will feel sluggish and like you would kill for a piece of chocolate. After 3 days your energy will return, and thoughts of sugar will barely enter your mind.

Avoiding carbs in sugars and grains (bread, cereal, pasta) is okay, but avoiding carbs in fruits isn't. Eating some fruits is necessary, but don't eat too many. So just eat anything (especially meat, but not chicken with breading on it) that isn't a grain! My dad went on the same diet as you, and he lost tons of weight. Just count the carbs that foods have, and limit yourself to about 20-30 a day. =)

you can get really sick if you just eat stuff that has no carbs. that's crazy talk, you're source of energy is from them. i suggest you go on low carbs
drink plenty of water and stay away from much meat.

excercise anywhere from 15-45 mins a day, and you shall get your results
