Tell yourself this- Ok, I need to sing. I rock at singing. They are gonna love it. You might be nervous, but really... WHY? If someone says your bad, you don't care! They are either jealous, hate you personally, or are afraid of the truth. Like they can do better!? You'll do great. Even if you pass out, you gave people laughs. Love you all!! Wish you the best, too!

But you should tell your parents not to disturb you when you're practicing your singing. Like when he said sing brianna sing that just makes you more embarassed. You should tell them that you will practice a song and sing it at the end of the week for them maybe on like a friday or saturday night. And they have to promise not to say anything or come in when you're singing. So that you'll be all ready when the time comes to perform. It's a start so you should try it :)
NoLies_JustLove answered Thursday July 27 2006, 3:10 pm: Hey, I get nervous too when I have to sing alone in concert choir or try out for a solo or something. If you're singing in front of people, do not look at them. Choose a spot on the wall or an object to stare at. Just pretend you're at home alone. Think about it, the people who have heard you sing think you have a good voice, so don't be afraid to sing and have fun! I'm sure if you're confident and believe in yourself when you sing infront of other people, they'll think you have a good voice, too. Good luck. =) [ NoLies_JustLove's advice column | Ask NoLies_JustLove A Question ]
