So I'm 15 and I have been trying to have sex with my boyfriend for about a month the first time he didn't get in much bc i said it hurt and so he stopped then we tried again and he got like half way in and it bled like quite a bit but nuthin to alarming then we tried about a week later and he got it in all the way i bleed like ALOT!! For like 4 hours!!! I went to the hospital bc I was afraid i was goin to die they said bc i was close to my period it might have been my period came but the bleeding stoppd after like 4hrs they said nuthin to worry bout so i wentto the ob/gyn n she said it was my hymen that broke n thats why i bled so much bc he popped my cherry does that happen to some people they bleed ALOT for a long time when it pops and will it happen again??
Melody answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 10:34 pm: If the OB/GYN said it was nothing to worry about, then most likely it isn't. It does happen to some people yes, so don't be alarmed. There is a chance that you will bleed again during or after sexual intercourse, but most likely you won't bleed as much as you did this time.
