How many miles away from Columbia, South Carolina is the Eiffel Tower in France? is there a search engine on the internet that can show EXACTLY how many miles from south carolina in the us is from the eiffel tower??? any search engines? Note MAPQUEST DOES NOT HELP! please i need this for an assignment!
However, if you want to measure distances all over the world, and see satellite and aerial photography for the whole planet, then download Google Earth.

Then it shouldn't be hard to find out the distance from the airport to the Eiffel Tower. Since the only way a human can get to the Eiffel Tower is by way of the airport (unless you fly or sail into another airport or port) this distance and solution would probably work for a teacher (when I taught social studies it would have worked for me.) Or you can go the old count the miles on a world map route. [ dg663's advice column | Ask dg663 A Question ]

The only thing I can tell you is to do it the old-fashioned way. It's very simple to do. Lay out a world map and use the distance measurements from the legend and measure between Columbia, South Carolina to Paris, France. If it has to be more detailed than that (you have a picky teacher) you can print a map of Paris from the Internet. Then measure from the middle of the city to the Eiffel Tower and add that distance to the other.
If you have to do these figures by using the computer, I think you may be S.O.L. unless someone else on this site knows differently. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
