No Style

Question Posted Sunday July 16 2006, 4:54 pm

I'm 13 years old and I like fashion but I really don't have any style. I really wanna be a model when I get older because I'm 5'6 and only 105 punds and alot people tell me that I'm pretty. Does anyone have any advice on how to become more of a fashion expert?

well not everything that comes on the fashion shows look good you got to admit!!you can read magazines or when you go out shopping ask the lady in charge there to give you an idea on what the latest fashion is and what you can wear that would look good on you.

To get more knowledge on fashion you could read magazines, go to model shows, search for articles on the internet about clothing. If you have any other questions about fashion and style I'd be happy to answer.

Check out some really cool fashion magazine..and don't be afraid to like try out different styles with your clothes. Sometimes it doesn't always have to be matchy matchy? you know? Express has really nice clothes if your looking for a cool place to shop. Also, a cool fashion magazine like Teen Vogue would really help you out! You can also watch some fashion shows on tv to get a feel for what the "fashion experts" think!
Good luck!

Try shopping at places like Forever 21, Express, Guess, Nordstrom, etc. They have sophisticated styles, and their clothes are really cute. They're kind of like the stuff models wear. See for yourself at these websites:

Forever 21
www.forever21.com

Express
www.expressfashion.com

Guess
www.guess.com

Nordstrom
www.nordtstrom.com

...or you could go to the stores. Also, since models wear make-up, and you want to be one, you may want to start wearing a little bit of it. Don't over do it wearing foundation and blush and all that stuff. You're still young, so keep it simple. Wear lip gloss, eye shadow, eyeliner, and maybe mascara if you want. I hope I helped, and you could also look at google for models and see their styles and how they dress. Good Luck! :)
