vanity

Question Posted Thursday July 13 2006, 2:42 pm

I am way too vain. I worry all the time about whether I'm pretty or not. It's ridiculous, and I know it. How do I stop worrying about the way I look so much?

I don't act like an asshole, though. I'm a very generous, selfless person. Nobody knows about how vain I am but myself..

I know exactly how you feel. I am so self conscious about myself, and I am always looking in the mirror to make sure I look my best. My friends did an intervention with me, over one summer, they came into my house, and took out all the mirrors...and wouldnt let me look at myself...Oh, yes, it was horribly. But it worked.

And, you are beautiful, no matter what anyone says. No one is ugly.

be comfterable in your own skin. just dont be so obsesive over it. everyone has flaws or things they dont like about themselves and sometimes you have to accept them. maybe its just you that thinks you look bad. others may think your really pretty:}.

hope i helped a little.

Babe, you are beautiful until proven otherwise, and the only way to show that you are not is through your character. If you are an asshole you will look ugly to people, if your are nice people will see the better qualities in you and therefore have a somewhat of a biased on your looks.

Most people do the same thing. So if they're all worried about if they're pretty, they're not gonna care if you're pretty or not because they're too busy thinking about themselves.
Besides, with so many people in the world, it's guaranteed that someone out thinks you're the most beautiful person in the world. You just have to find them.

Buy flattering clothes and do your hair and makeup (but don't go overboard). It helps a lot if you know you look good.
