15 year old looking for a summer job
I'm fifteen years old and I seriously need some money. I have to pay my parents back for buying a chihuahua for me. I don't want to work in fast food like my parents want me to, so my question is if anyone knows of some good places that will hire me. I was considering working at a tanning salon called "Tanland" but I heard you have to be at least sixteen to work in a tanning salon. Is this true?

You might want to try working in a grocery store or a wal-mart or something. I have friends who work at race tracks and resturaunts stuff like that.

A great place to work is at your local pool. At mine the lifeguarding job sux (so don't do it), but the snackbar is great. The pay is like $7 or $8 an hour and it's really easy. See if it's not to late to get a job at your pool.

well it seems to me you really need a job. Type Your state in and go to state laws or labor.
You could also ask "Tanland" or don't be picky and take any job you can get. If you really want to pay back your parents you have to do hard labor and can't sit on your but all day. Try looking on the internet, job center, buisnesses, or try babysitting for the summer.

you bascily have to be 16 to work anywhere in my area, but since your parents are at least ok with you working at fast food, ask them to get you a work permitt, than you can work anywhere you want.

you could probably get a job at a salon like cleaning up/dusting, etc but not at a tan place or doing any services. grocery stores do but they're awful places to work (all my friends complain.) maybe you can wait till you are 16 and can get a decent job. <3

My friend just got a job at a tanning salong and she said you do have to be sixteen.
MAny grocery stores hire at 15
And you can try drug stores.

-Alot of fastfood doesnt hire until 16 anyways.

nOT SURE WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO BE 18 TO WORK AT A DRUGSTORE BUT I WORK AT A DRUG STORE AND I STARTED AT 16. bUT THE DEFF. hIRE AT 15.
