height problems

Question Posted Sunday July 2 2006, 12:52 pm

I heard that after 3 years of going through your period, you stop growing. Is that true? I also want to know if there are any possibilities of still getting taller, because I'm a bit shorter than average height, but still want to become taller. What can I do to become more taller?

Girls do not stop growing until they are between 18 and 21 years old, whether they have had their period for three years or not. You havent said how old you are, but if you are below the age of 18, i think you will probably grow more anyways!
ANd if you dont, you will soon be comfortable with your size! short is cute!

Haha i've heard this before too! I've also hear your boobs stop growing after you get your period. Which is also untrue. I've tried to be taller too, but there isn't really anything to help you. Just maybe if your healthy, like taking vitamins and drinking a glass of milk everyday. Good luck! :)

it is not true that you stop growing after you get your period. thats what i herd to, but i found out that it wasnt true... women dont stop growing untill they reach the age between 16-18. i was worried also because all my freinds tease me because im so much shorter than them, it kinda sucks but i cant wait till i grow more, lol..

No that`s not true! You stop growing when your 18. Nothing can help, your body just grows as you get older. ♥
