I Write Sins, Not Tragedies By Panic! At the Disco is kinda along those lines.
Love And Memories By O.A.R Is Also Kinda Along Those Lines.

For the first one, it's more hip-hop, but "Complexity" and "Break You Off" by the Roots are both great. They're from the guys perspective though.
For the second one, "Nothing Better" by the Postal Service is perfect. It's the guy that wants the girl to take him back, but other than that it totally fits.
