i know what you mean cause my mom does the same thing. She just wants to know what you are doing so she knows if it is going to change her schedule around. If you dont blow up at her and just tell her that "i dont know what i'm doing at this very moment, but i'm going to figure out my plans soon and tell you as soon as possible"
then she'll understand .. its no big deal, trust me, this will be the least of your problems.

My mom does this too. It's probaly because she wants you to make plans ahead of time, or wants to know if what you are doing will effect her schduel. It's not a big deal, and my advice is to find something different to obsess about! (I hope that diden't sound mean!)

Mothers always want to know what is going on in their children's lives; it's their way of caring, even though it can be a little annoying at times. I am into my 30s and my mother is still like that; I have learned to take it as a sign of caring and a desire to connect.

I recommend that you have one plan prepared to tell her about each day before she asks you. Rather than dreading her questioning, be ready for it and expect it. This will help to decrease the tension for both of you and chances are, she will somewhat back off over time. She probably isn't excpecting your daily schedule; she may be asking you mainly as a way to connect and communicate with you. You could offer something as simple as who you will be hanging out with after school, even though it may the same old crowd.

Good luck with it.

Oh those annoying mothers!

Sometimes people make plans the day before. That's probably why she asks, especially if she works and will be gone all day. She is just being a mother and wants to know where you will be. Then if she calls you and you don't answer she won't worry, she'll have a good idea of where you are.

If you do make plans ahead of time, let her know before she even asks. Do that a couple of times and she will probably stop asking. At least she is interested! Sadly some parents could care less. :)
