hi! Ok. here's my problem. see there is this guy and he likes me. And like I'll see him in school and we'll hug and then chat for like 10 seconds but that's all we really get to see each other. The summer is here now, and he keeps asking me if I want to hang out with him. But, see, I don't really know what his definition of hanging out is. Like, I don't know if he wants to come over or he wants me to go over his house you know? And I'm sorry, I just don't want to go to his house. And he wants to hang out just with each other but I'd rather have a lot of people. But that's another problem because he isn't really friends with my friends. I keep making up excuses and I feel really bad!! I don't know what to do!
P.S.- The guy is kind of cute, but like only sort of. He is also really REALLY short. :/

Why don't you suggest "hanging out" in a group if you feel uncomfortable with just him. But if you don't start to feel more comfortable with him soon, you shouldn't be hanging out with him. Hope that helps!

if you want to hang out with him, try suggesting things in a group. tell him you're going to the movies/shopping/rest. with your friends & you wondered if he wanted to come along & bring his er something. he'll probably understand that. if he asks you to come over, you can either straight out tell him you aren't totally comfortable with that yet, er say that your parents don't really approve. soo yeah, next time you & your friends do something, invite him. once you guys hang out more, you'll become more comfortable with each other & want to do things alone.
