My period is 2 weeks late. I have had it for 4 years now so it has kinda got normal, and i know they can come late but 2 weeks!? Is that okay? or is it bad?
JazzyGotDaAnswer answered Monday June 26 2006, 9:42 pm: it can be changing with the season or it can be stress. there's alot of this that can relay your period. if you wanna be completly sure go to the OBYGN asap.
kristen22 answered Monday June 26 2006, 9:22 pm: Stress can be a factor, Other things, such as Anorexia Nervosa, Ovarian Cysts, Polycystic ovarian syndrome, losing alot of weight very fast, excercising more, & weight gain.
If its just one missed period and you're quite young, say under 18/19, its probably just your body adjusting and I wouldnt put to much thought into it.
PunkieFreak4690 answered Monday June 26 2006, 9:19 pm: That's totally normal. Periods can be a couple weeks late or a couple weeks early. It happens to all girls and usually it's for no reason at all. But sometimes factors such as stress, poor diet, and lack of exercise can make periods late. Also, being pregnant can stop the cycle. Every now and then it will just decide not to come for whatever reason. Might be you are under stress, maybe you are more active. It could be nothing at all. :)
