wanting to go blonde

Question Posted Wednesday June 21 2006, 4:49 pm

my hair is originally light brown with a few natural highlights- im wanting to go blonde- and i have been for a long time. the only thing is- i dont know if i can rust myself to do it- to get like, my whole head done. another thing- i KNOW i couldnt trust someone else to do it for me- so id rather do it on my own. i dont want to spend too much on the dye- and walmart sells the revlon colorsilk dyes for 3 dollars a box. anyone know if thats a good brand? and will dying my hair lighter make it come out some funky color or what? any help would be grand!

Britts pointers for goin blound

1. Dont leave the die in too long or it will become way too light.

2. Wach out if you go swiming alot because if u do it will turn a gross shade of green! lol!

3. You might want to die your eye brows too because it would look real diffent if your hair is blond and your brows are brown!lol

i hoped i helped! The girl to go to Britt

You can try a natural kind like herbal essences natural instincts. First, you could also try a semi permanent dyes. Even though you don't want somebody else to do it ,that might be the best solution just make sure that it is a trained hairdresser that you usually go to and you trust. You can also try to lighten it gradually, like start by adding more blonde highlights so that when you dye your entire head it doesn't look so shocking and it looks more natural. Good luck!

Ya, to tell you the truth i wouldn't by a cheap brand, usually the cheap brands either wont work, or will turn out a funky colour. I would by loreal paris, my Moms uses it to dye her roots all the time, and they always turn out the rite colour.

I would use Revolon because it is a pretty good brand. I've never used it before but my friends that use Revlon on their hair said it turns out good && it does. Their hair looks like the picture on the box. Your hair won't turn out a funky color because my friends that used it never had a weird hair color.

I would do the revlon that is the best brand and it will not make it come out a funky color because your hair is naturally dark.
