Will tennis help me to stay in shape for track?

i mean its better than nothing but isn't as intense as track is. but added tennis to a light exercise should be plenty fine!

yes it will, and it will keep you on your toes, ready to move. but i also suggest running/jogging in addition to tennis. that way you're actually running more, as you do in track.

It'll help you stay in shape but it won't do you that good for track. You probably need something with more running. You could always just go for a run everyday and try to improve your time each day or every few days.
