On the stop acne treatment?

Question Posted Monday June 19 2006, 9:46 pm

Does that acne treatment by neutrogena -actually- work? Because I've used it on my acne and it's making it worse and all dried out. It seems to be making my acne stay around LONGER. i've had acne in the same spots for MONTHS. i dont know how to get rid of it. there's some red spots on my skin, no bumps or whiteheads. i dont know how to get rid of it.

To be honest, use neutrogena, but also use a cold cream. It cleanses and provides moisture too.

I've found that proactive works VERY well. Within one week there is a massive difference....give that a try and see if it works.

I use the neutrogena and it works for me.
But your skin may be different.

But if your face is getting dried out i would suggest applying some lotion to it.

But if the neutrogena product is irritating your skin i would suggest maybe finding a different one.

Hope i helped =]

well, everyone's body reacts different to different medicines. i would suggest seeing a dermatologist to find out which one is right for you. she may even be able to prescribe a stronger medication for you. (thts what mine did) hope i helped!

if you picked your zits when you had them then the red spots are scars.and not all acne medication works for every person.you have to try different things and see what works for you

Something similar like that happened to me aswell. You can try using another product like Clearasil (that helped me) but also if it starts happening again, then don't use the product everyday as this dries out the skin more. Using it once every other day should clear up your face and stop the icthyness.
You should also try using a moisturing face cream after aswell just to reduce the risk of dryness even further.

Hope this helps! :-)
