Well if you really truly do like her then you will stay with her through everything. And sure age may be an issue now but I know couples who are 10 years dif. I think if you really love a person age doesn't matter. And I would think after awhile people would get bored with teaseing you guys so I'd just ignore it and act like it doens't bother you and they should stop.

Never listen to what others say. Many adults date each other with rather large age differences. 6-10 years some times. Age means nothing in a relationship. Unless of course she's 7 and you're 16. But you aren't.
