I'm foureen female. Here's my problem: I like my best guy friend, but I don't know how to tell him I want a more than friends relationship. He waits for me after classes, when I'm scared he calms me down. He really isn't like that to anyone else. I mean there have been times where we've come close to kissing. We always hint and stuff too it's just he hasn't made a move, and I really want him to. So does anyone know cirtain things to say or hints to drop to get a guy to make a move? I'll rate five.
phsycowithproblems answered Friday June 16 2006, 1:34 am: there is only one way for him to know for sure: TELL HIM!!!!!!!!!!!! you have to tell him staight up forget the hints just let him know, trust me i went through the same thing and now he is my boyfriend. Guys are completely blind to hints so just let it out if he is a good friend (like you say and like i am sure he is)and doesnt like you like that he will be able to stay your friend and wont let it affect your friendship so you dont have to worry about losing him in any way. hope this helps.

<p>
Make sure if you tell him, NOT to write it in a note,.. notes are bad ideas.. they when written down everyone finds out. If you want him to know.. you should tell him over the phone or when you have just his attation. Or, if you don't want to tell him.. you could always just kiss him yourself. Sometimes thou, thats not the best idea :] Good luck & just tell him !!

Just tell him to meet you somewhere where it is quit(i.e park, lake). Then just tell him that you have been friends for so long and that you would like to be more than friends. YOu would like to try it as b/f and g/f.
He might say no, and things might get weird for a while, but it will return to normal.
He will prob. say yes. He shoulds like he kindof likes you too. Hes prob. shy, guys are shy and worried about rejections aswell. Just go for it. Take a chance. The worse that could happen is that he would say no.

lauren_69 answered Wednesday June 14 2006, 6:14 pm: as long as your sure this wont ruin your friendship afterwards i say just flat out tell him you like him!
if you dont have the guts to do it i suggest writing a letter so it isnt in person
i used to like my best guy friend, but once we did something we stopped immidiately because we knew this would ruin what we already had
so be careful [ lauren_69's advice column | Ask lauren_69 A Question ]

If he crosses his arms, do the same. You get the idea. If there is a local band playing or a carnival soon, then ask him to it! I bet he already knows that you like him, and you obviously know that he likes you. Just go for it!
