I don't get the whole day of the devil, what do they expect he's gonna do? And my friend was like freaking out cause shes on her period and tomorow is the day of the devil, what does that have to do with anything?

ok so basically today there is supposed to maybe be a baby born that is anti-christ. he/she is going to turn man against man and go against all of god's teachings. also, three 6's represent the devil. so thats why everyone is freaked out. cause today is three sixes, 6/6/06

we are not going to all die on june 6th 2006. 666 is the mark of the beast that will be put unto all people who deny Christ after the rapture. the rapture is when God will come to earth and release our souls from our bodies to be taken into heaven. anyone who is left with the mark of the beast after the rapture will not be allowed into heaven,and will not be allowed to trade goods on earth to keep themselves alive. therefore, they will be destined to die, no matter what- and even the devil cant help them. also, God stated that you will not know when he comes to earth for the rapture- so why everyone is claiming its gonna be this tuesday is insane. if everyone knew what day he was coming back- they would enjoy themselves, and at the last minute repent for their sins and take it all back. I don't think anything special will happen tomorrow unless somebody deliberately tries to go out and do something bad to make something happen.
Some people are just in snit because the way we abbreviate tomorrow's date is similar (not even the same) to a Biblical prophesy number. But 666 is the number of a man, not the number of a date.
The number comes from the book of Revelation in the Christian Bible, chapter 13. It is describing the Anti-Christ and what will happen during the Great Tribulation.
The end of chapter 13 says:
"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six." (Revelation 13:16-18)
For those who might not know, a "score" is 20. So "threescore" is 3x20, or 60. Therefore, the number is six hundred, sixty, and six, or 666.

Even if the Bible said that the devil was going to do something bad like destroy the world or whatever on 666 (I haven't read the Bible, but as far as I know, it doesn't say anything of that nature), he would have done it on June 6th of the year 6. 6/6/2006 isn't really that freaky. And even if the devil was going to do something evil, what would that have to do with your friend having her period?

Its just another doomsday prediction. Since the exact date is 2006. People keep forgetting that.

Even if the world should come to an end tomorrow, being on your period shouldn't be a big deal. Kinda like to think there is no such thing as a period in heaven. :)
