is it possible to love someone if you don't have a relations
Question Posted Saturday June 3 2006, 11:16 pm
16/F, Recently, this guy told me how he felt and he said that he loved me since 7th grade. I'm thinking isn't just an obsession or a huge crush? and is it possible to love someone even if you're not with that person and you don't have a relationship with that person?
Vikki27 answered Sunday June 4 2006, 5:18 pm: It is absoloutely possible. Unfortunately, it's very easy to fall in love with someone for whom you have no future and this is why so many of us women spend a lot of time contemplating the many joys of becoming a Nun!!
However, Nunnery aside for a moment, the only way you will find out once and for all whether or not he has a huge crush or really does love you is to go out with him.
Of course, if you really don't like him, this would be a waste of time but I would strongly recommend that if you don't like him, you put him down very gently. I doubt he is obsessed with you, as such. But it was very courageous of him to tell you how he felt. [ Vikki27's advice column | Ask Vikki27 A Question ]

I dont think he is obbessed w/ you, you would know that by now. So yes, love doesnt have to be in a bf/gf relationship, but hopefully the guy actually knows you, like, you are remotly friends.
BabiiGiirl answered Sunday June 4 2006, 6:40 am: of course it is love is what you feel for someone that you care about deeply and will do anything for....love is an emotion nobody has control over so yes its very possible trust me when you fall in love with someone you will understand!!! Byee hope i helped!!! [ BabiiGiirl's advice column | Ask BabiiGiirl A Question ]

Have you ever had a crush or really liked a guy or guy friend you went to school with, but never had a relationship with yet or at all? It is the same thing.
It is a huge crush, and there is something about you that stuck him. If you are friends, it may be that you are the kind of person that he would like to be with. If you just know each other from school it might just be a physical attraction and the person he percieves you to be that he has fallen in love with. That, my dear, is far from obsession.
If he can tell you what you wore everyday last week, including underwear..then, be worried. If he rides past your house or just seems to show up everywhere you are, then maybe. But, it is probably just an innocent admission of feelings in hopes you might return them. [ Chicken_flavored_eggs's advice column | Ask Chicken_flavored_eggs A Question ]
Sherry answered Sunday June 4 2006, 12:22 am: Well not an obsession, a huge crush that has lasted wya too long. He was probably scared to tell you until now. Which is cool, if you like him..go for it! Yes its possible to love someone without a relationship but its highly unlikly. Most of the time, love comes after you have some type of relationship with them. If you like him, I think you should give it a try. This guy is obviously dying to be more than friends =) [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
