ok so im sorry if this seems like a stupid question but it's really bugging me. anyways im 16/f and i have a problem with my body image! i wear size 4 usually in american eagle jeans but just recently i've been able to wear size 2. for some reason i keep thinking that wearing a size 4 is overweight or something. i guess it's because i hear all the time that celebreties should be size 2 or something. can someone please help me get over this cause i think about it all the time!! i rate 5s!!

herbivore answered Friday June 2 2006, 4:48 pm: hey. HOLY MOLY! i would die to be in a size 4 pant. i am 14 and i have to wear a 7-8. you are two years older than me and wear 2 sizes smaller than me! you shouldnt be so concerned about the celebrities. after all, they are payed to be super super skinny and they have personal trainer and all that jazz. no one HAS to be anything. you just have to accept yourself for who you are. you have to realize that this is how you were made and everyone is different. here is a site that may help you:
JazzyGotDaAnswer answered Friday June 2 2006, 4:13 pm: dont worry about what size a celebrity wears. just what your happy in. just to let you know i know gurls who would die to be a size 4 honey flaunt it you have it
DefinedEyes answered Friday June 2 2006, 4:07 pm: Size 4 is definitly not over weight at all!
Its tiny! And you know that the majority of all celeb pictures you see are; airbrushed, touched up, or something like that, they have programs where they take some of their thigh size out, or make their stomache flatter than it really is.
And also celebs they have money to have personal fitness trainers, and people like that.
The media makes us think we NEED to be skinny, but we DONT AT ALL! You are a tiny girl! size 2 is a great size, I wish I was that size! [ DefinedEyes's advice column | Ask DefinedEyes A Question ]
HipYaHop1213 answered Friday June 2 2006, 3:05 pm: well if you used to ware a size 4 then looka t pictures of wen you were a size four. if u like wat you see then gain weight. but even if you r happy with ur weight now just b careful, because if you havnt noticed, most celebrities are shorter than the average person which means they can b lighter. so just b careful with your weight lose/gain.
Elcee answered Friday June 2 2006, 2:31 pm: Celebrities and models put out a very unrealistic persona of themselves. In pictures and magazines they are airbrushed and tampered with to make them look as perfect as possible. The normal, average female has a normal-sized body and wears average sized clothes. You are by no means fat being able to wear a size 4 and if you feel that you are unconciously losing weight then perhaps you ought to have a check-up. If however, you are losing weight deliberately you should try and stop now before it becomes an obsession. Be proud of your size and don't become focussed on those women as role models because they are the ones that are not normal. I hope this is of some use to you and I wish you all the best.
