I’m exactly the way you are. I’ve been working on it for the last 6 years.
The thing is that is just the way you are. Change is possible. But it wont go away. Maybe you should just change the way you communicate it to him. Like instead of saying something like “you are iterating the hell out me” Say something like “Do you mind if I have some time alone, I’m kind of irritable”. But to be honest, and this is only from my own experience, brake up with him and find someone who also has a strong personality like you have. It worked for me. They don’t overshadow you, you just kind of know, he wont take any crap from you. Good luck

hmmm... to get better at this you are going to have to work on yourself alone and also when you are with him.

what i can think of doing is... when you are by yourself, try to think why you do it, and how it must make him feel. you are hurting the one person who depends on you to be caring and loving. ask yourself if you overreact, or if he's really too annoying for you to handle.

when you are with him, think of the things you've figured out in your head before. maybe you'll see that brushing it off or reacting in a negative way isn't worth it. you can also try to count down in your head if you feel the impulse to give him an attitude.

practice, practice, practice. it'll be normal to slip or make mistakes at first, but you are working on it, and you should let him know. it would probably be nice to apologize to him when you catch yourself slipping. you CAN change.

hope i helped! good luck :D

Well if he annoys you ..of course your going to feel frustrated. So first off you have to take care of how he annoys you..tell him to let you knoww what annoys him about you..and you do the same.
try stepping back when you go to say something mean..you care lots about him and you dont want to end the relationship right? (you might want to think about that part...because if hes so annoying..you may be considering a breakup)

Abuse doesn't always mean by physically hurting someone. Mentally hurting them is just as bad... and yelling, hitting and giving him attitude is abusing his good nature and the entire relationship.

Would you ever stand for a boyfriend treating you, the way that you are treating him and say it's not abuse?

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I dont hit my boyfriend but i used to treat him like i owned him. Lucky for you, you know you do this. I couldnt see it, i had to have his friends say stuff before i realized what i did. If you really like this guy and you really know he doesnt deserve what you do to him, then you'll find it in your heart the strength to want to change. It wont all happen in one day though. This is something that will happen over time. In the mean time, talk to him about what you think- about how he sometimes comes off as annoying. Dont say it in those terms but tell him some of the things he does that bug you. And maybe, if he starts to change the things he does that bugs you, then you might start to appreciate him more.
Hope it helps.

try doing it slowly. not like compleatly changing yourself in one day becuse like you said it's hard. Jus try not hitting him for one week. then not yelling for a week. then so on an so on. you better hurry because at tha rate you goin he might leave you so get on ya job. $JAZZIEPINK_09$
