acrylic nail glue!?

Question Posted Thursday May 25 2006, 2:14 pm

I bite my nails and they look really bad. So on special occasions I buy fake nails at like target or something and glue them on. They look pretty good. The only problem is that the glue is never sturdy enough and can never hold my fake nails down to my real nails. Where can I buy glue that is able to hold them down and keep them fully attached to my real nails in water for up to 4 hours! What nail glue can i get and where can i buy it? Thank-you

the glue that comes with them is usually stong enough... just file your real nails (on the top, where the glue will go) before you put the fake nails on... that will help the glue hold together both parts.... and if that doesn't work (which it should) make sure that your nails are clean and have nothing (nail polish also) on them, b/c that can make the glue pull from your nail... good luck!

There is this chemical you can apply on your nails that can help your from biting them. It's a chemical that, if you attempt to bite a nail you will get this extremely bad taste in your mouth! Which gets you to stop biting them [so you can avoid that bad taste!] you can get it at a salon store. They're not expensive at all, and you don't need to get a professional. It works just as well doing it at home!

Actually, you can buy achirlic nails to do all on your own if you wanted to try that. You can get them at sallys beauty supply! Then you can get that and one pack will last like a couple of years, instead of buying a bunch of packs like every week, which actually costs more, believe it or not.
Well, i hope that i have helped!

I don't know of ANY nail glue or fake nails that are of the quality you want. I wanted to reply because I used to bite my nails too. If you ever want a sure-fire way to grow them out, get silk wraps done at the salon. They look like acrylics but done mess up your real nails. When you get them taken off your nails look fantastic!
