My b/f got me a promise ring ( a ring that promises you will marry them) well anyways we got in this fight and we broke up well I gave back the ring and now he is going out with this new girl named kerisa well today i was talking to her and she was wearing the ring and she started showing it off to me what should i do?

I'm sorry, but a ring that promises marriage is called an engagement ring. To me, a promise ring is something different.
Anyway... really, you gave the ring back to him, it's his to do with as he pleases. Sorry about that. Does the new girl know he gave you the ring first? If not, and it were me? I'd let her know. I know if I were in her position, I wouldn't want someone else's ring.

Trust me. Screw him. He is not worth hit if he is too cheap to use the same ring on two girls. Just forget about him and move on. Hes just trying to make you jealous. Don't let him.

Well... you did give him the ring back... so he did have the right to give it to another person; considering you did break the promise.
The only thing you can really do is move on and talk to someone else. He isnt' at a wrong here.

Because you too aren't going out anymore, I wouldn't do anything. It would just show the girl you are jealous. If I were you, I wouldn't say anything to the girl, because I agree with the person below me, it would just cause drama. Obviously this guys a real player, he has already given that ring to two girls. I wouldn't be surprised how many girls have and will wear that ring. Thinking this will hopefully give you some dignity. Hope this helps.

You can do two things. 1)Dont do anything, your not going out with him anymore. 2) You could tell her that he gave you the same exact ring, but I think that'll just cause a whole lot of drama. Do what you want =)
