sticky rice?! ok well today i went to eat thai food for the first time and i loved it!! we had desert called sticky rice and thats like my fav now! but i want to make it here at home.. does anyone know how?? and my friend said its better with mango or something... can someone tell me step by step how to make it bc websites just confuse me... thanks<3

The kind of rice that you're talking about isn't the typical kind you get in stores, so you're probably going to have to go to an Asian market. The type we use is a brand called "Homai," and the type of rice is Calrose rice. I'm not very familar with the recipies, but you should probably look into getting a rice cooker, as normal pans can easily burn the rice if you're not careful. And yeah, the stuff is awesome! It's actually a different kind of rice that you have to buy. It's hard to find in regular stores, you'll probably have to go to an Asian supermarket. And it might be under "glutinous rice". But once you have it, you just cook it and it sticks together! You should definitely make rice balls with it--they're fun and delicious. ]
