I recently bought TWO tanning lotions, Natusan Holiday Skin, and Dove summer glow, now I was just wondering - how do you apply these? Can you use them on your face“? And if not, what do you do to make your face the same colour as your skin? Anything to think about?

Well, i hope that i have helped at least a little bit with your issue!
BRUNETTE__BABiE__CAKESZ answered Friday May 19 2006, 10:32 am: hey, well apply the tanning lotion about 5 minutes after you get out of the shower. make sure you are dry before applying. also your shower should be with hot water. applky teh tanning lotion evenly to avoid streaks. remember less is more in one area, so dont go too crazy with the lotion! there is special tanning lotion for your face. go buy that. DO NOT put the body tanning lotion on your face. also those products that you got may be good, but jergens natural glow is one of the best. it comes in 3 tones fof skin. light, medium, and dark. so buy the oen that matches your skin tone. also that one comes with a face one. so mayeb try that? cait♥ [ BRUNETTE__BABiE__CAKESZ's advice column | Ask BRUNETTE__BABiE__CAKESZ A Question ]

To apply:
1. take a hot shower, shave your legs and exfoiliet your skin (basically that means scrub off the dead skin)
-- you must do this to open up the pores, and make sure the lotion doent just coat your leg hair or dead skin because then it will look blotchy and discolored.
2. EVENLY apply it all over your body, don't miss any spots or you will have white blotches. Use a circular motion instead of a straight rub to avoid streaks.
3. Wait until it dries on your body before putting on clothing, thyen put on loose clothing.
4. Use tanning lotion before bed so when you wake up, your tan. They take a while to set in completely.
For your face:
1. go to the store and find special tanning lotion for your face. I use jergens face tanner. Regular tanning lotion can be used, but i have found it to look blotchy and uneven because the skin on your face always reacts differantly then that on your arms and such. Tanner made for your face is always even and looks natural, apply it lightly in a circular motion.
Tulipg17 answered Friday May 19 2006, 8:01 am: Take a shower and exfoliate your skin really well, if you don't have a body scrub just scrub really well with your poof or washrag. After, dry off really well and don't apply any lotions. Evenly apply one coat of the tanning lotion (just pick one) but use lightly on your elbows and knee, as they are naturally dry areas and could pick up too much color. Let the lotion dry before dressing. You can use them on your face, just make sure you apply evenly. Jergins face tanning lotion is designed just for facial skin if you want to try that instead, and the color "build up" a little more each day so it will certainly be even. These lotions are designed to be as fool proof as possible and to go on evenly so don't be afraid. Make sure you have a friend or mom nearby to do your back.
