When I erturn from away on AIM, sometimes I get this message that says that my screename has been signed on in 2 different locations. I am worried that someone has my password and is going on to my s/n. When I go to change my password I have to answer this question that says: Who is your favorite singer. And I totally forget what I put down! Anyone know how else I can change my password?

But that is kind of scary you know. Because they could go on your screen name when you're not home and then they could start IMing your friends & that will start a whole bunch of drama.
I would guess that you should make a new screen name. In your new one, make the password really hard to uncode. If you have an easy password like "fishsticks" someone could un-code that. So try a good password like "got823m83i12lK" If you wrote it down, you wouldn't forget it.

x0ricanchica answered Tuesday May 16 2006, 10:12 pm: well maybe you should just get a new screen name or something...chances r who ever has your pswd now will find out again and if you get a new screen name dont tell anyone your pswd..not even friends...but if you dont want to do that i think if you look around on the site you can figure out how to change it..not sure though.. On the AIM sign on screen,
it has a link that says "Forgot your password?"
Click it....
It takes you to a website, fill out the information....hopefully this will work!
And yeah someone else has your password, or if you go on AIM on your cellphone...then it's just remembering you being signed on from your phone. [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
