my computer only downloads AIM Triton and I HATE it. I tried to download the regular AIM & it won't work. It says it's installing, but when it finishes, it doesn't appear anywhere. How can I download regular AIM?

I had the same exact problem. But luckily I had a friend to show me how to get the other aim.
I believe this is the site. but I'm not quite sure. When I got the new AIM Triton, and downloaded the regualar one, it was about 5 months ago.

yes im not the only one who hates triton! i cant even uninstall it because it integrated itself into my AOL. try this link

well the way that i did it is that there is a certain link on buddyputty.com, that let's you down load the old aim (i hate the new one!!!), try downloading it from there but be sure to delete aim triton from the computer first (go under add and remove programs to do this), hope this helps!

I'm pretty sure you cant download the old aim anymore. They upgraded it, so most people will have the new aim, with new features, that you can only use to talk to people with the new one.
