my parents are SO paranoid!its not even funny. well i have been hangin around my friends-boyfriends-friend since my friend and her bf have been going out. well anyhow, he invited me and my friend (and a bunch of others) to cedar point this summer. how can i talk my parents in to letting me go?

*when im at my friends house i hang out with him so they dont know him
*last time a guy came to my house my dad interrogated him!!

jcsgrlthe1st answered Sunday May 7 2006, 8:08 pm: Well i know if i were in your shoes, i would ask then my parents would want to meet the guy, so bring him by the house or invite him and someother people over to your house and introduce him. daddys are ususally very protective of their girls, i would know because my parents sat down with me and my boyfriend( at the time) and had the sex talk, when i had no intentions of doing it and had expressed that to them.

xomegaroni answered Sunday May 7 2006, 8:05 pm: you can't really go against your parents er anything so the best thing to do would be to get them comfortable with it. show them you can be responsible. maybe do extra chores around the house er something. show them that a lot of people are going, it's not like you & him alone by yourselves. they can even ask his parents about it if they want er your friend's parents. it probably isn't because they don't trust you. maybe it's juss the fact that they don't know him that well. try inviting him over. let your parents get to know him.
