Get regular haircuts from a professional, and go easy on heat styling and exessive brushing. Try a hair serum to smooth out the look of your hair in the meantime. I don't know what your price range is but ask your stylist for a recomendation. [ Tulipg17's advice column | Ask Tulipg17 A Question ]

Even thou alot of people don't realize it, nippin them split ends is very important. Hair does grow from the root but if at the bottom you got split ends and don't trim them then they'll just get more damaged making the split go higher up into your hair isentially making it appear as if your hair isn't even growing. Use a treatment for split ends, a leave-in conditioner with a light hold, or a pomade just on the tips - all these can help to TEMPORARILY seal the splits. Garnier Fructis' split end serum is what your talking about. [ kristen22's advice column | Ask kristen22 A Question ]

If you don't cut them off they will just keep growing and eventually split up your hair. I hope you find a solution soon [ xo1234's advice column | Ask xo1234 A Question ]
