Alin75 answered Wednesday May 3 2006, 10:06 pm: Just to elaborate a bit on Mike's advice... the reason you feel it but dont see it, is because what you have done is build a layer of muscle under the fat.
Since weight loss is a product of a negative calorie deficit and since crunches dont burn a lot of calories, it follows that doing 300 crunches is not a great way to help yourself lose weight. Also, in case you are not aware, it is humanly impossible to target fat loss to an area of the body through exercise. You can lose weight overall, or not at all.
So, eat healthy, eat less than you burn, eat frequently (4-6 meals), eat balanced (all food groups), eat low on saturated fats & sugar, and drink plenty of water. As for exercising the more of your body you work the better it is.
You should not try to lose more than a couple of lbs a week as it isnt healthy.
orphans answered Wednesday May 3 2006, 8:43 pm: 1. crunches & sit ups
2. it all depends on the person. its different for everyone & you can't lose much weight unless you have a healthy diet. when i did 300 crunches a night with a healthy diet, i lost 2 pounds a week. its not the same for everyone though.
3. run, crunches and sit ups, DDR, sports, working out, go on a tredmill every day for 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours. eat healthy! eat smaller portions & eats lots of fruits & veggies and NO OR VERY LITTLE JUNK FOOD! and drink lots and lots and LOTS of water to get your metabolism going.
