Well, I love horseback riding and I loove my horses to death. Well, the thing is they aren't really "my" horses but I lease both of them. (I ride/used to lease/love others but its mostly these two who I love the most). My trainer is having me show her mare this summer and I've been leasing her mare since September. We have a wicked strong bond and have come so far. However, the reason I started leasing her was because the pony I was supposed to lease was lame for almost the entire time I was leasing my mare up to the present time. We are pretty sure he's going to be better by the summer, and this summer I was supposed to go to our shows with him. He's so cute and funny and I love him so much. I know I can probably still ride both but how do I decide which one I want to concentrate on?
Additional info, added Friday April 28 2006, 4:46 pm: Ok, I want to make this super clear...I CANNOT SPEND EQUAL TIME WITH BOTH. As technically I am not the owner of both, I have to lease ONE and give the other one back to his or her owner. I will not be giving them fully up, but I will have to choose between them. . Nallie answered Friday April 28 2006, 7:17 pm: Lease the Mare--who I assume is a horse and not a pony.
Ponies don't rate as well in competition, and if he has been lame, working him to get ready for the show might be a little hard on him. [ Nallie's advice column | Ask Nallie A Question ]

I can't lease both so I need to decide which one I want to lease. I can/will always love them equally but it's impossible to ride them equally. but if they both rnt going into the show you should work w/ that one a little more.
you hav to deside... just remember, love is infinate, you can give more and more and it'll never expire. [ HipYaHop1213's advice column | Ask HipYaHop1213 A Question ]
