I have answered this before. So, instead of rewriting it, here is my answer before! =]

I know what you mean. Well, what I do to stop the madness (fingernail biting) is when you wash your hands leave a little bit of soap under them. I know it sounds bad but trust me. In 5th grade I did that I don't bite them anymore!

To keep you from biting the finger-nail polish off you need to buy some clear kind, perferably the kind called, "Hard As Nails." It stays on longer and makes your nails hard to they are much harder to chew off. You can find this product at your local drug store or Walmart.

hey! here are a few ideas:

- chew gum or have candy in your mouth as much as you can.

- paint your nails... you won't bite them that way because you will ruin the color, and you will end up with nail polist all over your mouth lol

- get your nails done... i mean get fake nails put on. there is no way you can bite those, and they last for about a month so you might kick the habit that way.

- a weird thing that i've heard of but i don't know if i recommend is rubbing something like a hot pepper on your finger tips, which should prevent you from doing it.

good luck! :) hope those were helpful
