this isnt really a health question, but i didnt know what category to put it in.
i use playtex slimfit regulars.is a size up from that a lot bigger?because those ones dont last that long, because they are smaller.so, i was wondering if one size up is a lot bigger because one size up would be more absorbant, which would last longer.
Tampons need to be changed every 4-8 hours. A good sign that you need to go to a higher absorbency is if you get leakage, or if the tampon is saturated (i.e: if you pull very lightly on it, it slides out very easily) before the end of the suggest time period 4-8 hours.
It is worth experimenting with tampon brands, it took me a few years to find a brand that I find comfortable. If you try a higher absorbency tampon, and when you remove the tampon at the end of the 4-8 hours, if there is still white fibre visible, then you should go back to a lower absorbency.
