Jackknife I think. I read about a type of crunch called the Jackknife. * You put your hands be hand your heads and your legs straight out then bring you body up and your legs/knees to your face * and I read that this is a brutal but very effective excersise and it really helped several girls get that washboard stomach. Has anyone else ever done these and what type of results did you get?

Jacknife crunches aren't as good as you may think. Stick with the basic crunch- it's tried and true.
If you really want a challenging variation...try doing regular crunches on one of those big stability balls all the way to failure. Ow. ]
These style of chrunches work great if you want great results, and fast too! But, they can put strain on your back and neck. Good luck with your chrunches!

Prone Jackknife. I've heard of it either way now. I would do it because it works out fine but the bad part is that if effects the back and spinal issue. But if you feel pains tehn i would stop with that and just do crunches.
