Young Teenager.. Pregnant??

Question Posted Tuesday April 18 2006, 3:26 pm

okayy, i am basically in my young teenage period of my life. i have been sexually active for only about a year now, though. me and my boyfriend have been having a lot of problems lately, though. last night we just stopped to take a break from everything, though. i am having a lot of trouble with this though because i am use to seeing him everyday, we are always together. we have been having unprotected sex, and i am getting nervous that i am pregnant. sometimes, we have sex up to 10 times a day. && lately he has been pulling out and then going right back in. my period is not expected until this sunday, but i am really nervous. i know people don`t usually get signs this early, but is it possible?? lately i haven`t been able to sleep or eat right, i am very emotional, i have been urinating a lot, i have had very bad discharges, and i have been experiencing bloading and cramps severly. is there anyway this could be signs of pregnancy? or do you just think i am overreacting to this whole thing??

Additional info, added Monday May 1 2006, 9:34 pm:
i recently have found out that i am prgenant. i was not ready for this at first, but i think i will be fine now. even though we do argue a lot me and my boyfriend have been together since i was 13 now i am 19 and we have always made it through. i happen to think that arguing is a good thing in a relationship, though. right now we are doing very well and since last night we are engaged. i am in my first year of college that is the only thing that happens to scare me. i am doing the college over the computer classes now, though. we have had our own place for over a week now and that is going very good. we both have very good jobs. although, mine is only part time because of college. we are very excited now, though. we have recently just told both sides of family about the pregnancy and everyone is also very excited for us. we have a lot of love a support from both sides of the family so i think it will help. && you all have helped me in many ways. thanks to all of you:].

These things could also be symptoms of emotional turmoil. Before you go any further, and worry any more about this wait for your period. If you haven't got it in 3 days after it was due, take a home pregnancy test.

You have learned your lesson and don't need a lecture about birth control, I think you know that you should have been using it.

It is not likely you have physical symptoms of pregnancy this early. You need to relax and wait....

Keep in mind you should see a Dr anyway, the discharge and symptoms you are describing could be an infection.

Silly question... why are you having unprotected sex? You should ALWAYS use at least one type of birth control, if not two or more! I personally combine the pill with spermicidal condoms.

It is quite possible that you are pregnant, and if you are not now, you could be later.

Remember that the effects of pregnancy last forever, and you don't want to ruin your life at a young age; protect yourself!

(I know, I know, I sound incredibly preachy, but it's for your own good!)

Those are somewhat symptoms of pregnancy. The first thing you should have done was use the morning after pill. Condoms are very effective and protect against pregnancy,99.9% remember that. But it's sort of too late for that now. Make sure this guy of yours have the money to support this child that is on the way, and you should definately tell your parents, don't wait, it'll cost you in the end. Also, please get checked out for any STD's. Even though you believe he hasn't slept with anyone else, he could have before you. You're not overreacting at all, especially when it comes to the word " pregnancy" at such a young adult age.

Bloating and cramps aren't usually a sign of pregnancy. Frequent urination usually comes along later on then the weight of the baby presses on the bladder.

That's not to say you couldn't be pregnant. You are sure heading in that direction if you aren't.

You ask this boyfriend if he is ready to get a job and support you and a child. Hospital bills alone will put him in debt thousands of dollars.

If he says no. You tell him to cover that thing up or use his hand. You are to young to get pregnant. You are both being very irresponsible. Which to me says you are way to young to be having sex.

Are you overreacting? Nope. You're taking risks that could change your life forever. :)
