Which one do I go to A few weeks ago I told my friend Amy that I would go to a concert with her. It's a battle of the bands and the winner gets a spot on warped tour, and I'm friends with several of the bands who are going to be there. Then today I got an Invitation to my other friend's [Rachel] 16th Birthday party.
When I told Amy that I was planning to go to Rachel's 16th birthday party She got really upset. She wasn't invited and is mad that I would rather go to the party then to the concert.
But Here is my reasoning for going to rachels party:
-She is only going to be 16 once! and I can see these bands anytime
-I didn't even buy the tickets for the concert yet
-I always hang out with amy and I really don't get to see Rachel that much
What should I do? Should I go to the party or the concert?

You already made the commitment to your friend Amy, and especially since she wasn't invited to the party it just wouldn't seem right to ditch her. Invite Rachel to spend time with you the night before or the night after the party. ]
Ok even though the 16th birthday party sounds funner, i think since u told amy you would go to the concert first you shouldnt ditch her. ]
Find something else you can do with Amy to make it up to her. In the mean time, go to Rachel's party and have fun! The commitment isn't completely there until you've bought the tickets, and since you didn't, there shouldn't be any guilt there. ]
See if you can bring Amy to Rachel's birthday party, or see if you can go to a different concert with her another time. Because your right you only turn 16 once. ]
