It doesn't look like you've gotten a guys opinion yet,so here it is.
I wouldn't like that at all.The way I look at it is that I'm with who I'm with,and I don't want to be having sex or anything with anyone else.I'd feel pretty bad if my girlfriend asked me to do something like that.It would be like saying "you aren't good enough,so let's bring someone else in."Besides,I wouldn't want whoever I was with to want to have sex with someone else(that goes for you and him).On the other hand,he might love it since he'd be having sex with two people at the same time.

But be prepared to listen. And don't expect or pressure him to give you an answer right away.
It may be his biggest dream. It may intimidate him. And he may be surprised to find himself being intimidated by the possible fulfillment of his biggest dream.
Because lots of guys like to fantasize about being with two women, but when it really comes down to it...it's scary. At least for some guys.
Satisfying two woman at one can be a big responsibility for a man!
You'd probably be wise to think about this carefully, and work out some ground rules to avoid jealousy and surprises. For example, how much attention would he be allowed to give the other woman?
If you want to make this work, you need to have really good communication with him about it up front.

Sit him down and say that you want to spice up your love life and that he would love this. He will wonder what it is. Then come right out with it. The worst that will happen is he will be upset for a little.

So! With that said, just come straight out and ask him. Tell him that you'd like to make sex more fun, and ask if you can add a woman, as that fun.
I'm sure he'd be up for it. What guy doesn't want two chicks in bed?
