I'm at that stage right now too. The best thing to do is to get a personality test and then see the kind of jobs that you could do. then see if you might think of doing it.
Another thing you could do is try doing part time jobs or volunteer at where you think you might want to work, see if you like it.

And you know, in the future, if after 10 years of schooling you find you hate what you are doing, you CAN changge it. You can quit and upgrade your skills and find another job. No reason to stick with one forever, scary but think about it.

Cheers

Well, for starters, I worked at a veterinary clinic for a year, and let me tell you, it was far from boring. You have to deal with a wide variety of patients and situations, surgeries are all different, and animals can be so unpredicatable! It's not a glamorous job, but if you love to help animals, then it's a great one for you.

Think about what courses you enjoy in school; do you like science and math? Consider a science or engineering degree! Or do you love history, English, languages, or any of the other arts? Try a degree in the arts :)

You still have time to make a decision, so don't worry!

I can see you are very confussed, but you are still young.
What makes you think being vet would be boring? Maybe you should try going to few vet places see what happens, ask if they will let you help them out in you free time. If you dont enjoy it then you know that is not the career for you.
1st thing you need to do is maybe make a list of what you like, and what you dont like and maybe you can explore from there.

Good Luck
