devilspawn_666 answered Thursday March 16 2006, 8:17 pm: The age varies a lot, I think. I'm 17 and just found out about a month ago that mine were coming in. It could be that you don't even have any wisdom teeth. Some people don't, but if I were you, I would be sure to ask the dentist about it the next time you have a checkup. Notso answered Thursday March 16 2006, 7:30 pm: it varies really. Some people will have no problem with theirs, others will have to have theirs removed early on to make room for braces and such.
Your dentist should mention it to you if you need to get them out, or you may notice on your own that your gums are itchy, swollen or achey at the back of your mouth.

Shortcake22 answered Thursday March 16 2006, 5:04 pm: The Official ages to get your wisdom teeth are 17-24 but these days kids get them a lot earlier for some reason. Don't worry, I'm sure your dentist would know if something was wrong. Just make sure you go every 6 months to keep your teeth nice and healthy. Next time you go, as them about it. They will be able to do an X ray and see how close your wisdom teeth are to surfacing. [ Shortcake22's advice column | Ask Shortcake22 A Question ]
