I'm sure people on this site has at one point have read "The Outsiders". For school, could you rate it on a scale 1-10? 10 being the highest? And, what did you think of Dally's death? Was it important? Did it mean anything? Thanks.

Haha, anyway Dally's death shows how much everyone in the gang cared for him. He was so important in the story, and his death just made it seem like it was impossible to go on. I'd give it a 9, or maybe even a 10. :]

Like, I would've never read that on my own, because like it just looks SO boring, but it's like my favorite book ever & it was the first one I read at school. I would definitely rate it with a 10! Dally's death was extremely important, because throughout the story, you realize what an amazing person he was to the rest of his gang. The story was made for most of the "Dallys" in the world.
